I became interested in photography in the mid-60's since my soon-to-be-father-in-law was an avid photographer! Seeing his photographs and working with him in the darkroom inspired me.

Over the past 50 years, I've had the opportunity to travel many places in this world, and found that - for me - the beauty of photography is that it causes one to experience those places by paying attention to one's surroundings - not only the sights, but the sounds and smells of living.

Hopefully, I have learned a bit along the way, but realize that one never really "masters" the art of photography, but can certainly enjoy the journey!
